Backbox with flat grille mounting flange and two welded straps will accept an 8" driver and a torsion or screw-mount grille. It's ideal for suspended tile ceilings. The backbox is UL Listed (UL1480 5th ed. fire protective signaling; UL2043 for use in plenum space) only when used in conjunction with Lowell Speaker Assembly No. ULDWB8-2T572 or ULS-WB8-CT572 (order separately).
