Calrad's 40-EDID HDMI Emulator. Save the EDID data from your HDTV source or display. Computers and HDTV video sources sometimes lose the EDID information, the electronic identification of a display which communicates it's ability to render resolutions and frequencies or to deliver a video signal at all. When displays are switched away or disconnected and then reconnected, the EDID data can be lost and the computer or HD video source device can lose the ability to output video and display a proper image.
