PPC/ Belden F-Conn Universal F Male Connector, RG11 Type
Features The F-Conn FS11V connectors were designed using a patented guide and pin basket design. The major advantage is the position of the center pin’s 360 degree basket which is aligned to the back end of the compression ring. This makes it very easy to insert the center conductor. The connector utilizes a standard quarter/quarter prep. While designing the connector, a pin carrier and compression ring were added which are not normally seen in a conventional pin type connector. Full advantage was taken of the frequency matching and time domain studies completed on the connector in order to achieve a pin type connector with excellent return loss. Air is an excellent dielectric so the connector was hollowed out in the area behind the nut adjacent to the pin carrier, as well as the area in the post below the contact area.
